She is a former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, National Cohesion and Constitutional Affairs and former Ambassador of Kenya to the United Nations at Geneva. Amb. Dr. Amina Mohamed is a lawyer and a professional diplomat and has served in the public service since 1985. She has served in the Ministries of Local Government, Foreign Affairs and Justice. Amb. Dr. Amina Mohamed is married and has two children.
