Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has vowed that he will personally lobby for Kambas to join Jubilee Government as there was no space or hopes for Kalonzo in Jubilee or CORD.

Speaking during the funeral of his uncle late Sylvester Muthembwa in Kangundo, Mike Sonko said that it was a very big dream and it can never happen for Kalonzo that he will be given the flagbearer of CORD coalition. He called on elected Kamba leaders to stop being coerced to politics of playing with Kamba Nation. He also called on leaders present to talk to Kalonzo which he will also do.

He added Kalonzo should come join jubilee, saying it was very bad for Kambas to be in opposition election after the 2017 elections. He added that the star looks bright for Kalonzo in Jubilee as he can lobby for him to be a flag bearer after Uhuru Kenyattta’s term saying Ruto can go for one term and Kalonzo the other.

In Nairobi politics Soonko said that he wont fear anybody and will remain in Jubilee for he was elected on a Jubilee ticket. He said it doesn’t matter if minister of “sugar” (Wamalwa) vies.

Mavoko MP Patrick Makau added fuel to the fire calling upon Raila to step down for Kalonzo as he has already tried 2 times and failed in running for president.

Kangundo MP Kyengo Katatha also endorsed Sonko for the Nairobi Seat for Governorship..

CCU Party leader and former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti said that Kalonzo was the best candidate for the Presidency as per now and called on Sonko to go for the Nairobi seat without fear.

Senator Njoroge said that even though he is a kikuyu the best candidate suited for Nairobi Governorship was Mike Sonko. His sentiments were also applauded by over 10 MCAs from Nairobi County who were led by Nahashon Kamau the Minority Chief whip, Janet Kimondo and Peter Warutere.

Was CORD just dreaming Sonko joining them?
