A 30 years old man in Bomet central sub-county has hacked his father to death a panga after he was allegedly refused to sell an acre piece of land to purchase a boda boda motorbike.
The police are asking for information from the public after the suspect fled.
Village elder Mr. Marcely Sigei said the suspect ambushed his 50 year old father who was grazing his cattle, then ruthlessly inflicted deep cuts in his neck where he died on the spot.
Bomet police boss Mr. Abel Sande with a team of officers from Bomet police station visited the scene and pieced up information with the locals.
