It seams KK security Kenya did not learn from events of a year ago. Again they use the same procedure, where a single individual is entrusted with cash while on flight e.g. from Mombasa to Nairobi.
Mr Handson Nyasaka of the KK cash transfer unit collected the money from Nyali which was to be taken to Nairobi and boarded a Kenya Airways flight KQ540. After alighting at the JKIA at around 9.00am he disappeared with the cash and switched off his phones.
According to the JKIA’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) station was in foreign currencies of USD 50,000, 98,500 Euros and 90,000 Swiss Franc.
Police are still looking for Mr. Handson Nyasaka.
