Former President Mwai Kibaki is recovering well at Johannesburg’s Netcare Sunninghill Hospital‚ according to more family members who visited him in hospital today.
Family members including his son and his daughter were seen walking in and out of the ward where he is being treated and could only say he is doing “fine”.
“He is doing fine. Contrary to negative reports which have been doing the rounds saying he has passed on‚ he is recovering well and we expect him to be released soon‚” a gentleman accompanying the family said.
Reports indicate that, Security at the ward is strict.
Staff at the ward’s reception say they were strictly directed not to let anyone in.
