The video was captured by onlookers in the densely populated area. According to ST John Ambulance Kenya:
Five officers were injured after a police chopper crash-landed at NYS Engineering Institute in Mathare, Nairobi.
The injured were taken to GSU headquarters in Ruaraka for first aid before being transferred to Nairobi West Hospital by St John ambulance.
