A teenage mother delivered a baby girl few minutes after boarding a matatu while traveling from Eldoret to Cherengani to meet her mother.
The 16-year-old is said to have boarded the matatu and few minutes later experienced sharp labor pains before one of the passenger realized that the girl was due to give birth.
The passengers in the matatu assisted the girl in all they could and she successfully delivered a bouncing baby girl. The helpful passengers donated clothes for the new born and ensured the girl was taken to her home safe and sound.
