The exam papers, which are supposed to be this year’s mock examination for primary schools, bear Governor Cornel Rasanga’s image on the top right corner.
According to the County Executive in charge of Education, Pamela Okello, Rasanga’s image was printed on the exams to develop a close relationship between the learners and the County boss.
Ms Okello further revealed that Sh1.7 Million was used in printing the papers which would be used to boost education in the region and also work as a campaign tool.
“We are in the process of boosting the performance of our pupils in the next national examination. It is also a campaign tactic by Governor Rasanga for the next General Election,” the Education Executive was quoted by the Nation.
“Our campaign plan is good because even close relatives to the candidates will get to see the governor in the papers,” she added.
