Kenya’s number one mode of transport has been roads and to the lucky few, Air has also been a fast and convenient means of transport.

However, in the developing world, Kenya has also been using trains which is common in Western countries for a while now.

Now the Government is on the discussion process of buying new DF8B trains that have been upgraded, have high speed in terms of Km/h and durable engines.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday launched Phase 2A of the Standard Gauge Railway, which will see the line extended to Naivasha.

This will improve the economy through trades and businesses as a mean of reliable transportation for businessmen/women.
