A nominated senator from Mombasa yesterday denied claims before a Mombasa court that she had an extra marital affairs with a Mombasa activist.
Senator Emma Mbura denied the claims and told senior principal magistrate Francis Kyambia that she was not involved or even dreamt of having a relationship with Kalinga Mgandi,a man accused of defaming her.
Kalinga is said to have confessed his love affair with the senator landed him in court in March where he was charged with improper use of a licensed telecommunications gadget.
He is said to have sent abusive audio clips stating Mbura is fond of snatching other women’s husbands.
According to Mbura, the whole insults thing were politically instigated by the just concluded Malindi by-election which had unraveled the activist cum politician Mgandi as a CORD sycophant within Jubilee party.
