In July this year, screaming beauty Roshanara Ebrahim was dethroned from the Miss Kenya 2016 position for what the franchise holders, Ashley’s Kenya Limited termed as “a grave situation.”

Subsequently, Evelyn Njambi was installed as the new Miss Kenya 2016 title holder.

Roshanara wouldn’t take the matter lying and so she moved to court to seek legal redress on her “unprocedural dethronment”. She sued Ashleys Kenya Limited, its CEO Terry Mungai, Evelyn Njambi and her ex boyfriend Frank Zahlten.

It was at the court that it emerged that her dethronement was as a result of a breach of contract. It was revealed that Terry received an email containing Roshanara’s nude photos, hence the immediate cancellation of the contract between the Miss Kenya franchise holders and the beauty queen, which led to her dismissal as the title holder.

So who sent the nudes to Ashleys’ CEO?

The court heard that Frank was responsible. He sent the nudes in June, with malicious intent. However, the court, in a judgment made last week, ordered that Frank must pay 1 million shillings to his ex girlfriend for violating her right to privacy.
