NASA principal Raila Odinga lost his eldest son Fidel Odinga in 2014 following an undisclosed cause.
The family was devastated by the lose of Fidel whom his father was slowly grooming into politics. Fidel left behind a lovely Eritrean lady Lwam Gatachew Bekele with one son.
Raila’s other son Raila Junior tied the knot to Yvonne Wambui and together started a family. For the wedding in 2011, the high profile guests was former President Moi, his former aide Joshua Kulei, Attorney General Githu Muigai, Central Bank Governor Njuguna Ndung’u, Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, several Cabinet ministers, and a number of MPs. It was an invites-only glamour affair whose total cost was estimated at Sh10 million.
Yvonne is the daughter of Gido and Suzanne Kibukosya (now Suzanne Gachukia), a former celebrity songstress-turned music producer. She is the great-grand daughter to Peter Kibukosya, a patriotic Kenyan who helped write the national anthem.
However Raila Junior hates the limelight and has manged to hide his family away from the public for the longest time possible.
Now meet Raila Jnr’s wife Yvonne (comes from the Kikuyu land) that has manged to stay hidden from the limelight.

Why Raila Odinga Junior Has A Bent/Twisted Mouth
A few years back Hon. Raila Odinga’s son and first President Jomo Kenyatta’s grandson were injured in road accident in Nairobi. Raila Junior and Mr Joseph Muhoho were traveling in a sleek Mercedes Benz when it rammed a BMW belonging to one of their other rich friend on Valley Road at dawn. The BMW belongs to Mr Mwangi Pepe, the son of former CID Director Joseph Kamau. His passenger was identified as Mr Jeffrey Kiboro. The group had been at a popular entertainment spot in Kilimani up to about 3am when they left to regroup in town.
Muhoho escaped unhurt, but the others were injured on the hands, face and legs, according to friends and relatives who visited them in hospital yesterday. Witnesses said both vehicles were cruising at high speed when Raila Jr’s hit the BMW from behind. Pepe lost control of the car, which then veered off the road and landed in a ditch near the Integrity Centre. Both vehicles were extensively damaged and the airbags jutted out.
