President Uhuru Kenyatta today declared a “great day for Kenya” as he flagged off the first consignment of crude oil destined for export from Kenya, which will lead to oil becoming a major contributor to the nation’s economy.
President Uhuru Kenyatta Flags Off Crude Oil transportation from Ngamia 8, Turkana South. 2000 Barrels of Oil will be trucked daily to Mombasa for Processing & Export, thereby making Kenya officially an Oil Producing Nation.
At a current price of 60$ per barrel this translates to about Ksh 12,000,00 per day and Ksh 300,000,000 Per month
