Former President Daniel Moi’s grandson, Collins Moi, abandoned his girlfriend identified as Marsha Amario, at a lavish hotel in Kitale and left her to foot a bill of Ksh 100,000.
UdakuKE has learnt that Collins booked a hotel room at the lavish SkyNest hotel in Kitale with his girlfriend on December 29th as part of her birthday celebrations and then sneaked out of the hotel last Saturday.
He lied that he was going to attend to an urgent matter but didn’t come back, leaving his girlfriend high and dry.
Marsha, who is a daughter of a prominent businessman based in Naivasha, was detained at the hotel for a week and taken to Kitale police station after she failed to clear the bill.
She was released after a member of Moi family intervened and promised to clear the bill.
