Deputy President William Ruto’s trusted pilot Captain Mario Magonga is dead.
Captain Magonga died with all four Americans he was flying after their chopper came down at Lobolo in Central Island National Park at 8pm on Monday.
The chopper is said to have gone off radar on Sunday, March 3.
The wreckage of the chopper together with the captain’s body were located on Monday, March 4 at 4 am.
Captain Mario Magonga is an experienced former military pilot who hails from Nyamataro, Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County.
He is a first cousin to area MP Richard Onyonka.
His father is retired military man; Brigadier (rtd) Magonga.
