Interior Ministry PS Karanja Kibicho has received a three months jail term after he failed to honour court orders that demanded him to pay a sum of Sh 2.6 million to a torture victim.
High Court Judge Justice George Odunga gave the directive to the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinet to arrest Mr. Kibicho.
The PS failed to appear before the court on Monday and Tuesday respectively, owing to claims that he was attending a meeting.
