Raila Odinga’s Advisor Salim Lone has fled the country claiming that his life is in danger.
Mr Lone has fled to New York City in the United States alleging that the murder of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT Manager Chris Msando scared him.
“I had no choice but to leave for my safety. But of course, I am with the campaign 100 per cent and working with it,” he said
He also accused the Jubilee party of a plot to link him to violence even before the polls kicked off. Lone boasted of having served as the link between the NASA presidential candidate, Raila Odinga and powerful international media stations and diplomats.
Lone stated that he would jet back to the country if Raila wins in the elections.
