The Sunday afternoon road crash saw Cynthia Akoth, meet her death after the matatu she had boarded veered off the road and overturned along the busy Langata Road in Nairobi, killing four and injuring several others. Ms Akoth was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital in critical condition, but she succumbed to her injuries. She was a First Year, first semester student who had gotten admission to Multimedia University of Kenya early September, 2016 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Applied Communication.

According to them, were it not for the drivers reckless driving, she’d still be alive. A student leader at the institution confirmed the passing on of Cynthia Akoth. Four of the people injured in the accident had life-threatening injuries, police said.
