President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally revealed why he has refused to attend the Presidential debate scheduled for In a statement issued by State House Director of Communications, Eric Ng’eno, Uhuru outlined reasons why he refused to debate with aging opposition leader, Raila Odinga.
Ng’eno said his boss skipped the Presidential debate after he realised that NASA leaders were coordinating with “cartel media” who want to make profits from Kenyans.
“Jubilee will not participate in events run under the aegis of cartels.” “We know NASA is largely cartel-friendly,” Ngeno stated.
Ng’eno further claimed that the organisers – Debate Media Limited – agreed to extract revenue from advertising during the debates and share it among owners.
The estimated revenue was over Sh 300 million.
