ODM blogger and Junet Mohamed’s spanner boy Seth Odongo alias Disembe Dikembe has termed the Jubilee Party Kericho Senatorial by-elections nominee as a young person with STALE IDEAS.
Odongo, a man known best for his Odinga ass-liking comments, says that the likes of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga were still sane at the age of 84 years while young Kenyans like President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto and now Aaron Cheruiyot, the Kericho Senatorial by-elections nominee, as young leaders with very stale ideas.
Those congratulating Jubilee of nominating a ‘young’ person to vie in the Kericho Senate seat may be exaggerating things.
For me, it’s not that Aaron Cheruiyot is young that makes me happy about his win. No, jubilee has very young senators and even MPs with very stale ideas.
At the height of KANU authoritarianism, the youngest politician in Kenya who doubled as the nation’s conscience was some 84 year old Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
In fact, Uhuru and Ruto were elected on an ‘age platform’ and the verdict, four years later, is out.
So beyond age there should be something else: ideas!
